Are there female pilots in your company?

I get this question a lot and the answer is YES, OF COURSE. Female pilots are as good as male pilots and there is absolutely no difference. However, there are some countries in this world, where this is a little bit more complex.

Are you allowed to fly small planes too?

In general I am, but I need to do a check flight first, in order to be allowed again to charter a smaller plane like a Cessna 172.

You have to do at least 12 hours per year on a small propeller plane, but I didn’t manage to do that last year, so I have to do a check flight first.

Do you have to pay for your hotel rooms?

No, my company is taking care of booking and paying my hotel stay.

For which company do you work?

Due to the agreement with my company, I am unfortunately not allowed to tell you. Please respect this.

How many days are you actually at home?

That totally depends on my duty roster. Between 10 and 14 days per month

Which aircraft type do you fly?

I am currently allowed to fly the A320 family. That includes the A318, A319, A320 and A321.

My company does not have the A318 so I’m only flying the last three models.

Unfortunately there are lots of crazy and dangerous people out there with way too much time …

Do you have siblings?

Yes, one sister and one brother 🙂

How often do you play the guitar?

I used to play quite regularly a couple years ago, but due to my Job its hard to find enough time to practice

What kind of sports do you do and how often?

I try to workout regularly, at least for times a week. Most of the time I’m in the gym but during summer time I try to find time to do some sports outside 🙂
